How to apply your mineral foundation
1. Begin with well-moisturized skin. Use a moisturizer appropriate for your skin type, and allow time for it to be well-absorbed.
2. Apply with a nice soft brush or kabuki. Sprinkle a tiny bit of mineral foundation into the lid of your foundation jar, and swirl your brush lightly in the powder. Tap the handle gently a few times to remove the excess. You should have only a small amount of powder on the brush.
3. Now, sweep the brush over your face. It’s not necessary to work the minerals into your skin - in fact, it’s better if you don’t. Very light buffing works well. You will be surprised by the coverage you get. Start with less than you think you will need - it is better to use several light applications than a single heavy one.
Caring for your mineral brushes is easy:
Dampen bristles with warm water, and lather gently with mild soap or shampoo.
Rinse under warm running water until the water runs clear and soap is thoroughly removed.
Blot the brush well with a clean towel (you may find that the brushes bleed a bit of dye the first time or two they are washed) and gently reshape.
Allow your brush to air-dry flat.
Brushes should be cleaned weekly for optimum application and hygeine
